Offered for your consideration is a Sheaffer Fountain Pen in Marine Green. It sports a solid 14K god clip, band and nib. This is the Autograph model which was a high-end offering. Now, this pen will not win any beauty contests if the judges use a magnifier. Overall it presents well cosmetically under casual inspection. A good one to use. When one looks closer the following issues are found. 1. The clip has a more exaggerated hump when viewed from the side. It is secure. 2. There is a small but visible crack/ separation at the top of the cap(last pic). This is where the celluloid is joined to form a pointy top. If you dont stare at it you wont be bothered. 3. Very tiny crack at the corner of the lever slot(second last image). Inconsequential IMO. The pen had a hard life. I spent 1/2 hour sprucing it up and must say, it’s way improved. It is a standard/Full size it is about 5 1/2” in length. These are almost always engraved with the original owner’s autograph and this pen is no exception. Legible but not crisp imprint. The nib is a two-tone Fine with no flex. It has good iridium tipping. Lever filler works as intended. The pen is filling when water tested. We have cleaned the nib, section snd feed. We have installed a new sac and the pen fills when water tested. It has not been tested further and may need some tweaking by you or your pen repair professional. No Long Boilerplate but... I ship the same day or, at the latest, the next day(even on weekends). Please don’t blame me for seriously poor post office performance. Thank you for understanding.
