Description: This beautiful two-piece tea cup and saucer set, made of genuine bone china by Shelley in England. The pattern is called Heather and has a scenic British countryside theme. The rim of the cup and saucer are smooth with a gold edging. The naturalistic artwork has very fine detail. The bottom stamp of the cup and saucer is printed "Fine Bone China", "Shelley" and "England". They were produced sometime between 1940-1949 and have the #13419 on the bottom of the cup. The glossy finish on the cup and saucer look like new. They were in a private collection for decades, and then storage, so very lightly used if at all.
