What sets this lens apart from the pack is its wide f/2.8 aperture at 28mm. This is big, fast glass in a small package with a 55mm filter thread. This Sony Alpha mount lens will require an adapter for use with a Sony E mount camera body. There are a few a few minor scuffs to barrel cosmetics but nothing of consequence. Optically, there’s not a scratch or mark on the glass. The rear element is pristine, and inside, no haze, dust or fungus. The aperture is oil free and snappy and the mount looks great. Zoom and focus are smooth and deliberate. If you are looking for a good quality, inexpensive larger aperture zoom lens to expand the range of your camera system, you won’t be disappointed with this lens.
