Diameter 4" This series was first issued in 1988 as a four part bisque-porcelain "M.I. Hummel" miniature plate series called the "Little Homemakers." Each is a limited production plate that was produced for one year only. Modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1986. A matching figurine was released each year as an open edition to coincide with each plate. The original issue price was $45 in 1988, $50 for the 1989 and the 1990 plate and $70 in 1991. Hummel "LITTLE HOMEMAKERS" 1988-1991" in blue on backside of plate. Hummel plate matches the catalog's listed circumference of 4". Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on backside of plate, located to the right of TMK-6 stamp. Signed and dated by the renowned collector and famous author of hummel books, Robert Miller, on April 21, 1990! Comes in original box with inner cardboard holder and Goebel Collectors' Club Pamphlet with Enrollment Form inside. First Edition in a series of four "Little Homemakers." Closed Edition.
