Also included is a bookmark from the 2008 Border Book Festival and a marketing card (invitation) from a University of New Mexico English Department lecture featuring Denise Chavez. The book is in overall very good pre-owned condition, with very light rubbing to the dust jacket, minor wrinkling along the jacket edges, "bumped" edges along top and bottom of spine (see photograph 12). There is a small area of slightly creased page corners at the bottom of the first few pages (photograph 11). The pages are clean (except for the inscription and autograph on the title page), and the binding appears to be tight and square.
