Book Reviews:This is a great book and it is not only about football. Most of Edwards' players would say that football was the least important thing thy learned from him. Even if you are not a football fan, it is worth reading to learn how this great coach dealt with people. I was at BYU when he took over the program and saw the change from what one of his players called "the college football equivalent of flying standby" to a consistently winning team and a national championship. In my opinion, the major reason was the change of attitude Edwards created. Before he took over I was a walk-on wrestler there and had the opportunity to talk to some players. Too often I saw an attitude of "we can't win so why try all that hard." Edwards changed that and how he created that change is worth studying, for coaches, business people, parents, indeed for everybody. Even if you hate football you can learn from this book. If you like football, especially BYU football, it is a must read.--Hal Lillywhite Best book ever! Especially if you are a BYU or College fan. We need more in print.
