Description: This listing is for an unread, like new hardcover book with bookmark (from book signing) by Lia Matera. The book "Designer Crimes" is 5th in the Laura Di Palma series. The book has it's dust cover which is protected by a Mylar cover. The way to know if a book is unread, is whether or not it is "cracked". When you first open a book and read it, the spine often makes a slight "crack", and as the pages are turned to read, they slightly loosen. If the book opens easily to read the pages in the middle showing the words along the inside edge without having to press the book open, it has been "read" and is "cracked". This book was purchased at a book signing, and has the little bookmark that was given away at the book reading by the author. The book is a first edition, first printing (has all the numbers, one through ten in the correct order) from Simon and Schuster. I have quite a few signed books that are from my own collection that I am selling. It is time to (oh dreaded word) downsize!
