ASI Aquarium Silicone Sealant has been designed to aid in the fabrication of salt-water and fresh-water aquariums. This high modulus component RTV Silicone Sealant forms a strong cohesive bond to glass, without the need of primers. The bond is unaffected by continuous immersion in water and is non-toxic to fish once fully cured. ASI Aquarium Silicone Sealant is designed to remain in place, and can be applied to vertical surfaces without running, flowing, or sagging. Because ASI Aquarium Silicone Sealant is a 100% silicone sealant, it has excellent resistance to weathering including ozone, ultra-violet radiation, and airborne chemicals. ASI Aquarium Silicone Sealant can be applied to surface temperatures form -18 C to +50 C (0 F to +120 F) and after curing, withstands constant operating temperatures from -57 C to +233 C (-70 F to 450 F). Adjust fixture or jig to apply proper and constant pressure Select appropriate bead size for aquarium Apply sealant directly to center of joint formed by the sections of glass Tool sealant immediately after application Remove excess sealant before allowing to cure by wiping with clean cloth and a suitable solvent.
