Here I have an authentic Silver Stag hunting knife. The sheath is a high quality handmade leather. This knife and sheath are new. However, they are also survivors of a fire that ravaged one of my distributor's warehouses. The outer cardboard packaging was damaged and discarded. The sheath does have some "rub marks" on it from being shipped to us in bulk, the knife is in excellent condition. The photos you see are of the EXACT knife and sheath you will receive. Scrimshaw is a process of carving directly into the smooth finish of the genuine handle material. A wash is then applied to reveal the artist's work. The scrimshaw artist on this knife is Michelle Severe, a nationally recognized Scrimshaw Artist that specializes in North American wildlife. The finished product is stunning and is signed by the artist. The D2 tool steel blade measures 8" long, and overall length is 14-1/4" long. The knife and sheath together weigh 1 pound, 1 ounce.
