Description: 1930s SINGER SLF-2 MACHINISTS LAMP SLF-2 lamp manufactured by the Singer Manufacturing Company (Simanco stamp on base).Original, unrestored condition. Articulated/anglepoise style movement.Increasingly scarce. Highly collectable. Condition Fully working, but not currently PAT tested (advisable to get old lamps checked).Rewired with black vintage flex. The bakelite shade remains in good overall condition. It is however, missing the lens. It is also missing a tiny screw on the hood (doesn't affect the lamp in any way). The base stem, arms and joints have been lightly cleaned, but retain areas of rusting/tarnishing. The lamp can be placed into many different positions and angles. To take full advantage of this movement, the lamp will need to be secured to a bench or fitted with a heavy base.
