Description: I am listing a few special items from a private estate, some will be "buy it now" and others will be auction-type, running for a week . . . all are selected from my existing inventory at special sale prices, and have never been offered on eBay before. ORIGINAL ILLUSTRATION ART"SIZZLESTICK"ARTIST: WILLIAM (BILL) ASHMANThis is a very rare collection of three (3) sets of illustrations, two to a page (6 in all) for the story "Sizzlestick" by Sam Merwin Jr. featured in Beyond Fantasy Fiction #10 - the magazine's final issue Vol 2, no. 4 January 1955 (though the date was not stated) These interiors are all drawn in ink on tracing paper, various sizes, from about 5" x 3.5" to c 7" x 9" and two of the sheets have been mounts to stiffer poster board 10" x 15" with editor's notes on all, top and bottom. The art is fine, but the original mountings are in fair to poor condition so will need to be replaced for preservation's sake. I have left them as is/ original for the sake of provenance. Remember, these are 85 years old! NOTE: No rights of reproduction accompany the sale.
