About a decade after this photo was taken, he was invited back to actively participate in the dance as an adopted Snake Priest. He wrote he was awestruck by this experience. The photo was taken ca. 1900 by Edward S. Curtis. The card measures 6” x 4 ¼”; copyright 2005 by Historical Photo, Ltd., is brand new and in mint condition.
