This cleaver is in fair condition for it's age & rarity, but it does have some significant wear and tear. The blade needs to be sharpened, there are light scuffs, scratches, marks, staining, and some rust along the blade. Also there are a few dents on the backside of the blade in the middle. The handle has some wear as well. All in all the cleaver is heavy, and clearly built to last. The cleaver could be sharpened and used, or you can give it some extra care and restore it fully. It's entirely up to you! Definitely a cool piece, and a lot more unique than most things you would find in stores these days.
