Description: I bought this a7iii in 2018 close to when the camera came out and it’s been my main camera ever since. I do hundreds of shoots per year and this camera is still running amazingly — I’ve been using it up to a few days ago with minimal issues (I’ll state them below). I’ve had a 2nd a7iii camera since 2019 and use it as a back up and secondary camera at weddings. I just filmed my last wedding of the season and I plan to sell the first a7iii I purchased to upgrade for the next season and I’ll keep my secondary a7iii. This model is still relevant and stands the test of time. All photos in this listing were shot with my other a7iii with a Tamron lens. There are a few issues with the a7iii listed: 1) A few years ago, my tripod fell over with the a7iii breaking the viewfinder glass. When I first purchased the camera, I actually turned off the viewfinder so I’ve never used it anyway since I’m mainly doing video. I also do take photos and have never needed the viewfinder. See photos for broken aspect. 2) I’ve noticed at wedding shoots when I would plug in an external mic it wouldn’t register in the camera via the mic input. I’m not sure if it’s an easy fix or a setting that I accidentally turned off but even when the external mic was plugged in, it only recorded the camera mic audio. 3) Sometimes during long recordings the camera would stop recording randomly. It does have a 30 min time limit but sometimes it would stop recording after a few minutes. This was very rare and has only happened a handful of times but I wanted to disclose that. Sometimes it was when it was very hot outside (Texas sun). 4) There are 2 SD card readers and sometimes card reader 1 would not read a card if I didn’t format it before. So I’d format it with card reader 2 and switch it to card reader 1 and it’d be fine. My other a7iii has never had this problem so I’m not sure why it does it with this camera. But once the card was in Card Slot 1, it would never stop reading it. It should be noted that I’ve NEVER had a card fail at any point in my videography career of 13 years and thousands of videos - including with both of these Sony a7iii cameras. I do format my cards often and recommend you do the same. I’m not including an SD card since I don’t have an extra one to include and it comes with one healthy battery. Does not come with a charger since I don't have an extra one. Can be charged with USB-C or you can find a charger online.
