Description: Sony RCD-W1 Compact Disc Recorder CDR/CDRW Dual Deck CD Player (no remote) - Parts/Repair! The unit powers up, both CD trays open and close, both drives will spin the discs, however Deck A won't play a disc and displays an Error when attempting to read a CD (may need belt replaced or some other repair). Deck B will play a CD and seems to work fine, but I am unable to test its recording function, as I don't have a Music CDR blank disc to test it. So, at the very minimum, this unit can be used as a basic CD player, and as a single deck CDR/RW recorder if the Deck B proves to be able to record and make discs from an external source. The unit comes as pictured and has some cosmetic wear and tear in the form of scuff marks and a few dings (see pics).The unit is being sold AS IS for Parts Repair with No Refunds or Returns offered.
