Description: Sony Recording MD Walkman MZ-R701 Type-R Portable Mini Disc Recorder Come with power adapter and bag We tested it with a battery and with the power cord, and it powered on with each one. We weren't able to properly fully test it. It played the recorded track on the mini disc, but we couldn't hear anything through our headphones. We also tried recording on the disc, but we didn't have a mic for the input, so it "recorded" but with no sound. It's possible that's why we couldn't hear anything on the first track, if the previous owner tried recording without a mic like we did. Or it could maybe have an issue with the input or output. We're not 100% sure because we weren't able to test it properly. Please see photos for more details. Thanks, V//H
