Description: Solid cast pewter statue of Vladimir Illyich Lenin, 1870-1924. This statue was purchased from a gentleman who lived in Russia during the 1970s and bought the statue while he was there. The casting is signed in two places - on the back of the narrow bookcase he is leaning on, and on the top side of the pedestal he is standing on. The first signature is quite clear (see last photo) and translates (via Google Translate) as "MURZIN", "MURZIA", "MURZIR", or "MURZINKA". The second is less legible but obviously the same name.Measurements: 12-5/8" tall, 4-1/4" wide, and 5" deep. It weighs 5 lb, 3 oz. See photos for condition details. This is the item you will receive.
