Description: This Spalding baseball jersey dates to about the 1915 to 1925 time period. A larger adult size, probably men's size 44 as it measures 22" armpit to armpit and 31" in length top to bottom. Very good quality jersey with perfect Spalding label in the neck. Attractive blue pinstripe and very dark navy blue sun collar and end of sleeve piping. Very clean with no rips or tears but a section of material has been removed from the bottom of the tail on the back side of the jersey as the photos will show. This was very likely done for comfort reasons by the original owner. A Large K on the front is the only clue to what team wore this jersey. Beyond that I have no information on it other than I'm fairly certain it comes from New England or the northeast region of the country in general. Great vintage early baseball display piece and SUPER Spalding cloth label. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
