We steamed the curl into the fashion, the curl may lose some shape during shipping. If this happens, simply fluff and lightly pull, and restyle with your fingers. Pull and straighten the streamers, for those that want less curl look. Skirt and Crown have a metal snap on the back to attach them to the doll. The spinner will function, and spin the doll around when the feet are put in the slots, and she is pushed around on a flat surface. The best part is, it’s made of ABS plastic, NOT THAT OVEN BAKED CLAY!Each piece has been embossed with "Starlight". This was part of the mold making process, not added after the fact.
