Author Biography Born in Texas, in 1959, Mike Politoski was raised in a Christian home that believed in the teachings of the Baptist Church. He attended a private Christian school in a small East Texas town, and later studied electronics technology in college. Mike began his broadcasting career in 1977, and after a series of on-air jobs at a few radio stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, he became affiliated with Praise Broadcasting Network, a Christian radio ministry. He has performed as a national television host, and now assists the staff of PBN with radio and television productions. Mike has a sincere desire to promote the Gospel through electronic media. Married to his wife Letty, residing in North Carolina, he has been blessed with three children. In 2011, Mike was diagnosed with cancer, and underwent surgery to remove it. His treatments included chemotherapy and radiation. He had been contributing to a small African American church in his community, but not attending their services. When they became aware of his hospitalization, they came to visit him, and prayed the prayer of faith over him. As a result of this, his prognosis came back excellent, and he has been healed. Since then, Mike regularly attends this church, and considers it home. Inspired by what happened to him in the hospital, Mike began a quest to find out as much as possible about Divine Healing. He has spent thousands of hours researching techniques that work, and weeding out the ones that do not work. He has seen blind eyes opened, deaf ears hearing, and a wide assortment of other miracles, all happening through the name of Jesus. He has committed his life to sharing with others the message of Jesus, teaching them how to lay hands on the sick and seeing them recover.
