The installation is easy enough, simply jack up your Sportsman 850 / 1000 & work from corner to corner, undo the shock mounts and install the lift plates in its place which will then relocate your shock mounting point, which in turns will give you the lift that you are looking for. Then simply bolt the shock at the new mounting points and bolt everything back together.
