Description: The large lobby was finished in cream lacquered wood and had wide stairs with gilded wrought iron ornamentation and a copper handrail. It led to a palm court of 46 by 39 ft (14 by 12 m), which was finished in cream lacquered wood in Louis XVI style. Its sides contained Delftware tile tableaux.
