Description: 3 piece Stacking ~ Apothecary Show Globe ~LARGE -- slightly over 17 inches tall when assembled!This was a reproduction item made in the 1980s in an effort to bring back the use of the show globe in pharmacies. Therefore, it is vintage, but not antique. Not many purchased these, so they are rare. Not entirely sure what the applied glass emblem is supposed to represent -- maybe a maker's mark? What a beautiful addition to a pharmacy/medical collection - fill with your favorite-colored water and place near a window (ships empty).Condition Description: No chips or cracks noted. The top stopper is not original but completes the set. 3 pieces total -- large base, mid section, and top stopper. Made of heavy glass with a solid glass base. There is some packing tape residue on the outside of the globes which can be washed off. The glass is still overall clean and clear.
