Description: Pottery stain for body , glaze or slip 7 Vibrant colours 100g packages of stains for pottery - fires to 1300 deg C Powder stains can be mixed into clay to make coloured clays , into slips to make a vibrant decorating slip or as shown in the photos mixed with a casting slip to create vibrant colours. The colours in the photos are made by adding 8g of dry powder to 100g of wet casting slip - I splash a few "squirts" of the coloured slip into the mould and allow it to dry for a few seconds before adding the plain white slip. The Tumblers were then bisque fired to 1000 deg C and then glazed with Potters Warehouse Clear Glaze and fired to 1222 deg C.
