Description: Stanley Bailey No. 5 Type 15 Smooth Bottom Plane Sweetheart Iron Measures 14" long, 2 3/8" wide, and 5" tall. Great condition for its age. The plane body has some japanning loss and spots of surface rust as shown. The lever cap has some paint loss in the Stanley logo as shown. The iron has some surface rust and discoloration. The iron has been ground down quite short through age and use. The frog has some japanning loss and surface rust on the exposed metal as shown. The adjustment lever on the frog is bent slightly. The wood handles/ totes have spots of damage, scratches, and dents from age and use. Please refer to photos for complete condition.
