The 27” blades are the perfect size for duelling after attaching the two hilts together. I tried a set of 37” blades and they were ridiculously looking and too long to handle. The hilts generate realistic sounds when moved slightly or swung and flash yellow for a split second when striking another lightsaber or object. This item is a must-have for any Star Wars collector or fan of the genre. The set is open box and was taken out for pictures and testing. It has never been displayed and has remained in the cardboard box and put away since purchase.
