Description: BEGINNING NOTE ON THIS SET OF STORYBOARDS: This/these boards are out of the 1st generation binder ( I purchased 3 binders at auction/from phill Tippett). These boards are from the earliest binder roughly 8 months before the others. Costumes are different in some scenes and the boards look a little different then all other boards you will ever see. Some/Most if all these early boards have the characters dialogue written on them as well! RARE (2nd picture matches color of board closest. My camera does not like closeups) SCENE: Luke flying his snow speeder during the battle of Hoth ( after he gets shot down and watches an AT-AT Foot heading towards his crashed ship. As you can see, this is an early character/costume design board .Once again these are 1st generation storyboards. Extremely rare. Phill Tippett did a ton of work for the original Star Wars films specializing in creature, design, stop motion, and computerized character animation. I recently purchased three production binders from one of the top prop houses in the world (close to 1400 production used storyboard copies many with hand written production notes. Each board is 8.5x10 3/4 in. Comes with 2 COA’s. One for my shop and a copy of the original COA from the prop house. My shop COA is an example.Each storyboard will have a specific serialI number for that exact piece. Iwill take returns at ANY time if there is even the slightest doubt of of authenticity. I put my reputation as a production art dealer on it. This was a blind purchase ( I was not able to view the storyboards before I purchased these binders) and my mind was actually blown when I finally got the chance to open them up ( a few even literally brought tears to my eyes). This is a special collection. The largest highest quality lot from Star wars ever purchased at auction (and it wasn’t cheap). I am selling most/all of the story boards. Most of the scenes are from the battle of Hoth ( opening credits to fit to finish), tons of space battles, cloud city.
