For a very quick sale, we could melt down the pendant, and after refining could reuse the silver, but this doesn't compensate us for all the work gone in to make this pendant, so we are offering this to you at a price which will cover our material cost, and also our manufacturing and import/shipping costs, and as we are selling here we have covered our seller fees and postage, and giving the rest to you by way of a price to make you smile. (This is the main cause of jewellery turning black)The pendant is made using anti-tarnish silver, which will keep the silver colour for longer, but please when not being worn return it to the small cellophane bag that it was supplied in, as the tarnishing of silver is caused by exposure to the elements (pollution etc.), and the less it is exposed the longer it will stay looking good.Do not use liquid cleaners (i.e. silver dip etc.) these leave a film on the surface and over time will damage the item.A soft clean cloth is good, or for a special clean, use a silver cloth, many are for sale on Ebay, and most work very well. I tend to attach the cleaning cloth to a workbench/table-top or similar with a bulldog clip and holding the cloth tightly run the item into all the groves of the pendant. cleaning can be done in seconds that way.
