Description: Sterling silver silverware set for 1 person (4 pieces) with the initials "SA" engraved in each piece (the engravings are done very artfully)housed in its special wooden (oak) presentation box with a medallion in brass with the monogram in the middle of the top lid. The inside of the box is lined in red velvet with separations for each piece of silverware. The top of the inside lid is lined with red velvet around the outer edge and beige satin and a red satin diagonal stripe.This set was made in the Austro/Hungarian/Habsburg period in the time of 1867 to 1918. The pattern is in the art nouveau style. The silver ware displays all the correct silver stamps including the Dianakopf (Dianahead) mark.This set is an extraordinary piece of personal luxury. All pieces are in excellent original condition, no wear is visible.The box measures: 9 3/4" wide, 5 3/8" deep and 1 3/4" high, the box closes with a flip clasp.
