Description: Sterling Silver Swirl Design Dangle Earrings 3D Designed and Printed iDu JewelrySterling silver swirl design dangle earrings. These earrings are an iDu Jewelry original design that we created on our 3D jewelry cad (computer aided design) system. The earring model was then printed on our 3D printer using a special castable resin. The model is grown layer by layer using a laser to harden a light sensitive liquid resin. Each layer of the model is printed at a thickness of 25 microns - that's a quarter of the thickness of a human hair. This earring design took approximately 4 hours to print.The 3D printed model is then cast into solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax casting method. Each earring dangle is then cleaned, refined and polished.The swirl earring design is approximately 20mm (0.79 inch) in diameter. The swirls are domed approximately 6mm (0.24 inch) to enhance the swirl design. The earrings are finished with heavy weight shepard's hook style .925 sterling silver ear wires.You can show off your new high-tech earrings to all of your friends!
