Stetson Marcrest Pottery Yellow Dogwood Flower Black Branches Covered Dish VGUC

Description: This is a very good used condition Mid Century Modern style 6 cup covered dish with yellow dogwood flowers on black branches that was made by either Stetson or Marcrest China Companies in the 1950's. Both makers have very similar pieces and neither were diligent about marking the pieces. I have pieces intros pattern that are marked with the Stetson thunderbird mark that dates from the 1950's-1966 when the plant closed. The covered dish is in very good used condition. I can find no cracks, chips or repairs. There is crazing of the glaze surface. I see no dark spots or protein deposits. The covered dish is about 3 3/4 inches tall with the lid installed (about 2 3/4 inches tall without the lid installed), about 10 3/8th inches across the top rim and about 3 inches across the bottom. I'm in the process of downsizing my collections, and store stock/inventory from antique/vintage stores I had in the midwestern states for years. Most of the boxes have been pack for 15+ years.
