Signed by the author on the front free page. Appears was originally inscribed but name inscribed to has been erased. Extremely rare to find a signed copy. The Modern Library ranked the Studs Lonigan trilogy 29th on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century. Condition: A very nice copy, tight and crisp, with signs of prior use or wear. Binding - very good. Book is square, tight, and clean throughout. Dust jacket - Unclipped dust jacket is crisp and bright, and is protected by a clear mylar cover. 1/2" tear to top front. Loss of paper to top rear near spine (see photo). Chipping and rubbing to top and bottom, especially at spine. If the condition description doesn't mention a remainder mark or ex-library markings, they do not exist.
