Description: This antique Japanese Meiji restoration era Kutani sleeve vase with rondelles in relief, is absolutely gorgeous.It has been thoughtfully hand painted and gilded.It is large and measures just over 12 inches tall and about 4 1/4 inches in diameter.It is in very good condition with areas of missing paint and wear and manufacturing flaws such as crazing, pops and kiln grit.The gilding is in surprisingly good shape for its age.Just delightful.Please see my Kutani peacock punch bowl from the same estate.
