Stunning Louis XV Parlor Chair with Napoleonic Crest Fabric

Description: This unique chair is just a stunner. It draws you in from across the room! The black fabric has the Napoleonic crest with the bee inside a crown. The chair is made of cherry wood with a gilded finish, which has worn of in places, which is totally normal for a chair that dates back to the mid 1700's. The back is uncovered and reveals the intricate carving that was done to enhance the seat back. The arms are high up and are also carved. The legs are the typical Louis XV style. The chair seat has horsehair filling, and the fabric is a later addition. The chair is very comfortable and very stable. The fabric has some light discoloration on the seat, which I have not tried to correct. The chair measures 26" wide, 21" deep and is 32" high at the arms.
