Requires a 12-pin harness to power and provide reverse signal for auto-dim mirror complete night function. See “Bob’s Automotive Mirrors” website for harness kits as an alternative to more expensive factory harnesses from Subaru/Toyota. Compass and Homelink functions will work with power & ground connections. Photosensor will auto-dim during night driving with only power connections. Reverse used to automatically turn off auto-dim. Many Subaru vehicles have a 3 pin harness in headliner (BRZ/FRS/86) to provide 12v / Gnd / Rev signals to mirror. See your local Subaru / Toyota parts department. Please see photos for condition.
