Description: Sunvision CCTV 2.1mm F1.2 Monofocal Fixed-Iris 150⁰ AOV M12 / MTV Mini Board Lens This 2.1mm monofocal fixed-iris S-Mount (M12 or MTV or M12*P0.5 or board) lens which provides maximum of 150⁰ viewable angle when use with a 1/3” format image sensor. This lens supports surveillance camera with IR night vision capability and it is ideal for viewing of a very large indoor/outdoor area. This lens is one of the best solutions for wide angle upgrade of your FOSCAM FI8910W security camera. Features: Monofocal Fixed Iris Lenses are commonly used in board cameras, such as CCTV dome and bullet cameras. This type of fixed iris lenses with fixed focal length is the least expensive and offers a wide range of selections for any unique and diverse application in video surveillance. These lenses are factory set for a fixed focal length to achieve the optimal field of view. As lens focal length increases, the field of view narrows and distant objects are more defined. However, if a lens designed for a smaller format image sensor device (ie. 1/4") is placed on a larger one (ie. 1/3"), the image on the monitor will have dark corners. Instructions: 1. Unplug the power and video transmission connections to camera 2. Remove the Sunshield by lifting the sides outward or sliding it out 3. Remove the Ring Cap and the Protector Glass from the camera body 4. Remove the IR Illuminator and unplug the little white connector 5. Take a few pictures of the camera’s exterior and interior for reference in case can’t recall the correct orientation 6. Remove the image processor board from the camera housing 7. Loose the small screw on lens holder and remove the lens 8. Install the new lens three quarter the way in the lens holder 9. Hold up the image processor board by the edge (Do Not Touch the electronics) 10. Reconnect the power connections to camera 11. Adjust the lens for image sharpness 12. Unplug the power connection to camera 13. Tighten the small screw on lens holder to secure the lens 14. Reinstall the image processor board back in the camera housing (refer to the picture took earlier if needed) 15. Reconnect the little white (keyed) connector on IR Illuminator 16. Reinstall the IR Illuminator back in the camera housing (refer to the picture you took earlier if needed) 17. Reinstall the Ring Cap and the Protector Glass on the camera body 18.
