Description: This is a truly magnificent calcite specimen from Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia. The faces are incredibly lustrous with very complex crystal habits. The crystals are rose colored due to trace inclusions of hematite. I have had many calcite specimens from Tsumeb pass through my hands and I can without a doubt say this is easily one of the best. Much more impressive in person! I really can’t say enough about this piece and it was hard to pick just 12 pictures. There is some contact around the edges behind and under, which wouldn’t be seen as it displays, along with very minor chipping here and there to a few edges, however it takes a close look to be able to see them. Overall it is in excellent condition and displays beautifully. The dimensions are 10.6 by 8.6 by 11 cm.
