Description: Superb Vintage Wooden African Male Tribal Figure Handcarved Wood 17" Hardwood This is a fabulous piece of African Tribal Art. I do not know which tribe this is from in Africa. This stands 17 inches tall. It is made from hardwood and has a lovely aroma , it is also extremely tactile. This is a male figure with a pointed chin and a beard. This has a headdress and tribal clothing , he is arrying weapons but these are shortened. It is very well arved and has a nice patina. It certainly has some age but it is not 100s of years old. Any information would be appreciated as to the area of origin or any other detail. Good Vintage Condition. The feathers that were on his headwear have deteriorated and one of his spears are missing . These are easy repairs / replacements . I have removed the feathers . Good Luck. Misc 89
