Description: This item is a black & white stone lithography print depicting the three-masted schooner S/V Denis Sullivan. The S/V Denis Sullivan is a replica three-masted, wooden, gaff rigged schooner. The S/V Denis Sullivan was originally from Milwaukee, WI and is now part of the World Ocean School fleet in Boston, MA. There are two (2) numbered, limited edition prints up for sale. The prints are number #40/55 and #41/55. The prints were created by the award-winning, internationally renowned artist and stone lithographer Harold E. Hansen. The prints were made for a special occassion aboard the S/V Denis Sullivan in 2011 and are part of a limited edition. The seller only has two prints in stock and no more prints can be printed. This print was meticulously created by the artist using precise linework, top quality paper, and and the best ink for the stone. The print was matted by the artist and is in the original plastic wrap from the artist's studio. The prints have been stored in a box away from sunlight and are in "New" condition. The prints are signed and embossed by the artist. The "HEH" signifies the artist stamp and "August Moon" studio stamp are marks of authenticity. A Certificate of Authenticity are not available at this time, but the seller has photographic proof of the printing process and has the original limestone used in the lithography process. The lithographic stone has been "X'ed" to show that no more prints of this limited edition can ever be made again from the stone. The exact print dimensions are 9.75" H x 4.75" W. The weight of the print is 1.3 ounces. Returns are only allowed ONLY if the prints remain in the original plastic. Buyer pays for shipping. Shipping only within the USA.
