The swan is done in a crackle style in cream or off-white with black. The eyes are a golden yellow color and I believe them to be glass, but am not completely sure. At its longest point, the swan measures approximately 15 ½” (15.5 inches) and at its tallest point, about 11” (11 inches). The bottom of the decoy has an engraved signature, Mickey Beth. Mickey Beth is a carver from Wisconsin, also known for his handmade walking sticks. The piece is most likely from the 1980s. The decoy is in very good condition. However, there is a split in the wood on the bottom—which I understand to be common as wood dries—as documented in the photos.
