SWEET ANTIQUE 16” 1920’s COMPOSITION DOLL HAND PAINTED TIN EYES NET STLL ON HAIR

Description: Hi, This auction is for a darling 16” Composition doll with the earlier tin hand painted eyes. She has a replaced dress of the same era. She has on her original plain off white onesie which has seen better days. Her off white socks and off white oil cloth shoes with tiny little buckles are also original to the doll. . I did not remove the shoes and socks to inspect the feet. I felt the ends to make sure they felt solid. Shoes of this age and material get a bit brittle with age and I did not want to damage them. The doll has brown curly hair which still has parts of the original net which has kept her wig in very good condition through the years. Most of the composition is in very good condition, but there is one small chip on her. All age appropriate. A darling doll with age appropriate clothing.
