SWEET ORIGINAL O/B STILLIFE PAINTING STONEWARE JAR & APPLES H DAL SANTO ABQ NM

Description: This is an Estate Fresh old Oil on Board painting, fresh from the estate of the Dal Santo family of Albuquerque NM. This beautiful medium size Still Life painting is actually quite nice. Its an ORIGINAL O/B STILLIFE PAINTING of a STONEWARE JAR & APPLES on a Counter by HELEN DAL SANTO ABQ NM It has good colors and brush work. Framed in its original frame it is 15.25" tall x 17.25" wide though the painting is 8"x10". The painting is signed on the bottom rt, has the name Helen Dal Santo, and is clearly done by the same artist that painted the other few pieces I have currently listed ( for now). Its just a interesting rendering and a good combination of colors! A sm bit of Info about the artist follows....Helen Dal Santo - She was born April 1923 - 2017 in Wilkes–Barre, PA. Her daughter was Ret. Judge Diane Dal Santo, also an accomplished Artist passed in 2015. There is little information on Diane's art career though she was locally famous as a revered Judge here in ABQ. Her mom Helen's small bit of info is as follows. Helen and her Husband, After getting married in 1948, made their way from Chicago to Albuquerque. Helen enjoyed many things throughout her life. One of her happiest times was studying fine arts at the University of New Mexico. She became an accomplished artist and won many awards. She was a member of the National League of American Pen Women, New Mexico Art League, and the Women Veterans of New Mexico.
