Description: Vintage perfume bottle. White Rose by Guy de Maurier, Paris. 1920s-30s. This is a sweet little piece by a perfumerie, which, per one source, created some of its floral scents in 1935. However, the ‘White Rose’ scent was not noted. This bottle looks quite a bit older to me, heavy w/irregularities/bubbles inherent in the glass. Has a half bubble on lip, sharp shelf ridge at base connecting to front. I see this mold irregularity on many of the antique bottles I handle. Bottle has cloudy residue. Cork stopper. Label is complete w/one rub on an edge, slight fading. ‘Extrait D’Odeur’.
