T25 BETWEEN THE ACTS ACTORS, FRANCIS WILSON!!! POPULAR SET!!

Description: This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. "Between the Acts" was a brand of little cigars, hence their name - you could smoke one while enjoying the intermission of a play. From the 1880's to around 1910, they issued multiple card sets depicting popular actors and actresses. Their final set, issued around 1910 and designated as T25 in the hobby catalogues, was a beautiful set of 50 different noted actors of that era. The cards are tough to find in top condition, due to the use of easily chipped black borders and gold-leaf frames. The set continues to be popular with collectors to the present. Here I have a card from the set showing actor Francis Wilson. It's in acceptable condition with corner wear and two small pinholes at the top corners (see scans for condition). Still, not bad for a card that's well over a century old! This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
