The covers are a dark red with what appears to be white lettering. The covers are not a hard board, but it is listed as a hard covered book. The covers, spine edges, corners have minor wear. The back cover has a black spot. Around edges, the spine edges there is more wear. Just inside the front cover there is a bookshop sticker and the names of previous owners. The end pages and pages have tanning due to age. The pages have a few fingerprints, very common in vintage books. The bottom text block has a small stain. The 586 pages are free from marks. The text is full of lists, tables, charts and equivalents. The corners are rounded. The binding is fair as it is a bit loose. No dust jacket was issued.
