Description: Original Banthrico building bank from the 1950's-60's in the shape of the Tallahassee Federal Savings bank in Tallahassee, Florida. This colonial styled building bank is cast in metal with a bronze finish and good detail, from the columns in front to the large paned windows on the sides. The base is inscribed "TALLAHASSEE FEDERAL SAVINGS", and the bottom has the original coin slot/trap inscribed "BANTHRICO, INC. - CHICAGO, U.S.A" It measures 3" tall by 4" wide by 5.25" deep, and weighs 1.5 lbs. Clean it up with some vinegar and baking soda and it'll look good as new. A cool find for your Florida memorabilia or building bank collection.
