"Tampopo" follows a young widow (Nobuko Miyamoto) who runs a small noodle restaurant in Tokyo, and Goro (Tsutomu Yamazaki), a cowboy hat-wearing truck driver, as they attempt to devise the perfect bowl of top ramen.
