Description: Antique TARENTUM butter dish cover. Ruby flashed, or stained, cut to clear in a grape cluster and leaf pattern. “Tiny Thumbprint” pattern. Victorian period EAPG. Base diameter is 5.25”, Height is approximately 4.5”. I only have the lid. Top knob in clear glass with a hexagonal shape. The gold application on the finial shows wear and there is the tiniest bit of roughness on the edges of the finial. (See final photo). Other than these subtleties the piece is in remarkable condition with no chips, cracks, or wear to the gold.
