Description: I purchased this last year because I had some tapes from the 1980s that I needed to hear and digitize. Big project, completed. I replaced the belt and the C gear, a common problem on these.I degaussed the heads and corrected the tape speed. Did a good bit of cleaning too. The last thing I did was make a demo tape, to ensure that everything is working in both play and record. No problems!
