Description: Taxidermy Real Dried toad Skull Bufo melanosticus. A nice specimen, skull in good condition. Very fragile. The skull was beetle cleaned and whitened with a strong peroxide. It displays very well making this a FANTASTIC specimen. Please note there may be other flaws that I do not see/notice as this was once a living thing and living things rarely show perfection in death. That being said, this is a great specimen--I rarely find these guys without some flaw, so this one is quite minor, and this guy is particularly handsome. It is sturdy and could be a good hands-on model for teaching. All specimens are legally collected and they are legal to sell. None of these specimens are listed in appendix I, II, or III of Cites, they are not endangered or threatened.. Due to the reason of light and the display, you can see the picture may have a slight color difference problem, this is inevitable, please understand.
